End of the Season Party and Awards:
-We will not be having our party at Clay brook this weekend. there is a Blazer wide potluck and BBQ at the Valley House lodge on Saturday. http://www.sugarbush.com/vermont-skiing-snowboarding/seasonal-programs-report Hope to see you there.
-Tips should be given to Smitty who will distribute them to all the coaches equally during our EOS coaches meeting the following weekend.
-Awards will be at the Yurt Saturday at 3:00.
Upcoming Events:
USASA Nationals at Copper. The next round of invites are up with 6 Sugarbush athletes qualifying to the National finals. I know a lot of you are not planning on going, but please decline your spot asap, to allow the next person time to plan their trip.
Spring Bump comp at Mt Ellen. Help us put Mt Ellen to bed for the summer on Sunday the 27th. Registration is at 8am in the base lodge, $20.
Pond Skimming at Lincoln Peak. I will not be sending coaches to do this event, but I do understand that many of you enjoy this event, so just please let me know if you are not going to be at practice to do this.
Tanks For Nothin' park event. Wear a tank top Saturday!
Recent Results:
Moxie Metal Mayhem at Mt Ellen was an amazing display of talent, on a beautiful spring day. Lots of rails and lots of prizes
Triple Crown Moguls at Mad River Glen: Sugarbush held their own on the rock hard course, with 3 in the top ten males, and the winner of the females. SJ Grundon wrapped up her sweep of the Triple Crown, while Matt Bansak got the honorable mention.
Summer Training camps: I will be running a series of trampoline camps at Sugarbush this summer. Official dates and prices will come out soon. They will be day camps, mostly weekends, with two mid week camps.
